Orienteering is a navigation sport where participants use a map and compass to navigate their way around a set of waypoints (controls). The fastest person around the course is the winner. Want to give it a go?
This is a regular Wellington Orienteering Club event offering a number of courses to suit all levels of ability and fitness. It is being held during Parks Week and is open to the public - no experience required for the easier courses. Incorporating a College Sport Wellington event for secondary and intermediate age students.
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes you can run/walk in.
